What is operational management support in a childcare setting?
Operational management support refers to the day-to-day and strategic assistance we provide to help your service run efficiently, meet compliance obligations, and deliver high-quality outcomes in line with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
What kind of support do you offer?
We provide hands-on, tailored support across all 7 Quality Areas of the NQF. Our Operational Business Partners have the role of an Operations Manager & Area Manager for multiple services, in one. This includes guidance on programming and planning, room routines, staffing and ratios, health and safety, educational leadership, learning environments, family communication, and more—ensuring your team is aligned and equipped for excellence in both care and operations.
Who delivers this support?
We will appoint an allocated experienced Operational Business Partners that will be assigned to your service, integrated directly with your team, providing sector-specific mentoring, troubleshooting, and practical systems to help your Centre Director and educators achieve operational consistency and compliance.
Do you help us stay compliant with regulations and employment law?
Yes. Our team has advanced knowledge and operational understanding in line with:
Children’s Services Award 2010
Fair Work Act 2009
National Employment Standards (NES)
National Quality Framework (NQF)
Health & Safety legislation
We remain current with regulatory updates and embed compliance requirements across your operational systems, policies, and staffing practices—ensuring your centre operates with confidence and meets its obligations.
How do you help with compliance audits and Assessment & Rating?
We support you in assisting with preparing for A&R by reviewing and strengthening your Quality Improvement Plan (QIP), refining your operational practices, and training your team to understand and articulate their role in quality outcomes. If you’ve received compliance actions or notices, we assist in developing effective responses and improvement plans.
What if our centre is struggling with daily operations?
We’ll conduct a thorough operational review, identify key risks or inefficiencies, and work with your leadership team to implement practical, centre-specific improvements. This could include support in rostering, documentation, supervision practices, or realigning educator roles.
Does your support team development and leadership growth?
Absolutely. We work alongside Centre Directors and leadership teams to strengthen management practices, improve communication, and promote a culture of accountability and high performance. This often results in improved staff morale, better educator retention, and a more cohesive team environment.
Can this support be scaled across multiple centres?
Yes. We offer scalable operational oversight and work closely with the Approved Provider to ensure alignment in systems, compliance practices, and service quality across multiple sites.
What results can we expect?
Services partnering with us typically experience a significant reduction in compliance-related issues, stronger A&R outcomes, greater team clarity and performance, and improved time management for Centre Directors—allowing them to focus more on leadership and less on daily crisis management.
We provide bespoke, interactive workshops designed specifically for childcare Centre Directors and their management teams. These sessions are scheduled monthly where we will focus on practical leadership skills such as strategic decision-making, effective communication, team motivation, and conflict resolution—tailored to the unique challenges of early childhood education.
How does your mentoring program work?
Our mentoring is a personalised, ongoing partnership that supports leaders in embedding new skills into daily practice. It fosters continuous improvement, strengthens team cohesion, and empowers leaders to inspire and motivate their educators effectively.
What outcomes can leaders expect from your training and mentoring?
Leaders develop greater self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and resilience. They refine their leadership style, build confidence, and enhance their ability to influence positive change within their centres—resulting in stronger teams, improved workplace culture, and higher-quality educational outcomes.
Why is leadership development important in childcare?
Effective leadership drives the centre’s strategic vision and creates a positive, supportive environment for educators and children alike. Empowered leaders are better equipped to manage challenges, inspire their teams, and deliver consistent, high-quality care and education.
Who would benefit most from this training?
Centre Directors, Educational Leaders, and management teams who are committed to professional growth and improving their centre’s performance will find this training invaluable.
How do you ensure the training is relevant to childcare service?
All workshops and mentoring are tailored to the early childhood education sector, incorporating frameworks like the National Quality Framework (NQF) and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), ensuring practical and sector-specific leadership development. We will schedule across the course of the year month on month training on where the focus is required.
Leadership Empowerment?
We deliver tailored leadership training days and personalised coaching to empower Centre Directors and management teams. Our childcare-specific workshops build leadership capability, strengthen team performance, and support continuous improvement.
Through our tailored leadership training and coaching, we help childcare services achieve up to a 25% improvement in staff retention and a 30% boost in team performance and engagement.

Recruitment Support
1. What types of childcare roles do you recruit for?
We recruit across a broad spectrum of roles within the early childhood education and care (ECEC) sector. This includes early childhood educators, diploma-qualified staff, certificate III educators, room leaders, centre directors, family day care educators and support staff such as cooks and administrative assistants. All placements align with the qualifications and position classifications outlined in the Children’s Services Award.
2. Are your candidates qualified and compliant with sector regulations?
Yes. Every candidate we put forward is carefully vetted to ensure they meet national requirements. This includes verified qualifications (Certificate III, Diploma or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education), a current Working With Children Check (WWCC), up-to-date first aid (HLTAID012 or equivalent), anaphylaxis and asthma training, and a clear National Police Check. We also ensure that all placements comply with staffing ratios, qualification requirements under the National Quality Framework (NQF), and any applicable provisions under the Children’s Services Award and Fair Work Act.
3. How long does it take to fill a position?
The recruitment timeline depends on the urgency and complexity of the role. Temporary or casual placements can often be filled within 24- 72 hours, while permanent roles may take one to four weeks. We work efficiently while ensuring all placements meet the standards required under NES and Award conditions, and that the educator is the right fit for your centre culture.
4. Do you offer temporary and permanent recruitment options?
We provide permanent staffing solutions. All casual placements will be referred to our preferred workforce recruitment provider
5. What happens if a placement doesn’t work out?
We offer a replacement guarantee on permanent placements. If a candidate leaves or is deemed unsuitable within the agreed probationary or guarantee period, we will source a replacement at no additional charge. We also ensure that all placements are aligned with minimum notice periods and termination requirements under the Fair Work Act.
6. Can we interview candidates before offering them a role?
Absolutely. We encourage our clients to interview shortlisted candidates and, where appropriate, arrange trial shifts (within legal limits and Award compliance). We provide full candidate profiles—including references and compliance documentation—before interviews to help you make an informed decision.
7. Do you charge a recruitment fee?
Yes, our recruitment service involves a transparent fee structure based on the nature of permanent placement. All fees will be clearly outlined in our service agreement, with no hidden charges.
