What is operational management support in a childcare setting?
Operational management support refers to the day-to-day and strategic assistance we provide to help your service run efficiently, meet compliance obligations, and deliver high-quality outcomes in line with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).

What kind of support do you offer?
We provide hands-on, tailored support across all 7 Quality Areas of the NQF. Our Operational Business Partners have the role of an Operations Manager & Area Manager for multiple services, in one. This includes guidance on programming and planning, room routines, staffing and ratios, health and safety, educational leadership, learning environments, family communication, and more—ensuring your team is aligned and equipped for excellence in both care and operations.

Who delivers this support?
We will appoint an allocated experienced Operational Business Partners that will be assigned to your service, integrated directly with your team, providing sector-specific mentoring, troubleshooting, and practical systems to help your Centre Director and educators achieve operational consistency and compliance.

How do you help with compliance audits and Assessment & Rating?
We support you in assisting with preparing for A&R by reviewing and strengthening your Quality Improvement Plan (QIP), refining your operational practices, and training your team to understand and articulate their role in quality outcomes. If you’ve received compliance actions or notices, we assist in developing effective responses and improvement plans.

What if our centre is struggling with daily operations?
We’ll conduct a thorough operational review, identify key risks or inefficiencies, and work with your leadership team to implement practical, centre-specific improvements. This could include support in rostering, documentation, supervision practices, or realigning educator roles.

Does your support team development and leadership growth?
Absolutely. We work alongside Centre Directors and leadership teams to strengthen management practices, improve communication, and promote a culture of accountability and high performance. This often results in improved staff morale, better educator retention, and a more cohesive team environment.
